Over the past decade, the modern Big Bathroom Day has transformed from private ritual into a cultural movement. Our investigation traveled from diner toilets to stadium porta-potties to understand what a true session entails.

Methodology

We interviewed patrons, designers, and a retired bidet engineer. We examined snack choices, reading material, and game-day strategies. The result is a taxonomy of Big Bathroom Days that will inform future editions of this magazine.

Conclusions

Preparation, respect for the ritual, and post-session celebration constitute the modern practice.
